Hawzah News Agency- “His advent opened a new horizon of truth and light for humanity. The Prophet (PBUH) called people towards Tawhid and taught them truth, justice, equality, brotherhood, humanity and peace,” he said.
“The life and teachings of the Prophet (PBUH) have become an eternal guide and example for mankind,” he added.
Quoting the Holy Quran’s Surah Al-Ahzab, verse 21, Tarique Rahman said, “Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have a good example to follow.”
He said the Prophet’s life reflected the teachings of the Holy Quran and embodied values including truthfulness, trustworthiness, justice, forgiveness, tolerance, kindness and selflessness.
The prime minister said the Prophet (PBUH) upheld the dignity and rights of all people beyond differences of race, colour, tribe, language and social status.
He said the Prophet emphasised compassion and responsibility towards orphans, the poor, vulnerable and deprived, while giving importance to the rights of family members, neighbours, women, children and marginalised communities.
“His teachings do not divide people, rather they strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, harmony and mutual responsibility,” he said.
Tarique Rahman said the world is currently facing multiple crises, including wars, conflicts, violence, discrimination, intolerance and moral decline, which are affecting peace, security and normal life.
“At such a time, the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) on peace, justice, compassion, forgiveness and humanity are highly relevant,” he said.
He said following the Prophet’s life and philosophy could help build a peaceful and welfare-oriented society based on justice, responsibility and human values at individual, family, social and state levels.
Describing the younger generation as the future of the country, the prime minister said the Prophet’s life and ideals could inspire young people to stay away from drugs, terrorism, extremism and crime and remain committed to truth and justice.
He said the Prophet’s teachings were important not only for the religious and spiritual lives of Muslims but also for developing human and moral values.
“His ideals must be reflected in our personal lives, family lives and social behaviour. We can build a peaceful, just and humane Bangladesh only by strengthening mutual respect, compassion, tolerance and a sense of justice,” he added.
The prime minister prayed to Almighty Allah to grant everyone the ability to follow the life and Sunnah of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and establish peace, justice, equality, prosperity and humanity in Bangladesh and across the world.
